Definition
Indicates the shipping type (for example, truck or train) which is selected for transporting goods in any preliminary legs for a shipment.
Use
During leg determination of type '2', '3' or '4", this shipping type is assigned to any preliminary legs which are created for the shipment document.
Procedure
You can set the shipping type for the preliminary legs in the shipment header (tab page: stages). The value is proposed according to the setting in the shipment type. After the shipment planning has been completed, set the planning status in the shipment header. In this way, the shipment legs are created in the manner defined in the shipment type.
