Definition

The overall status of a shipment indicates the processing stage of a shipment.

Use

The overall status indicates the degree to which the shipment has been processed.
Using this status, you can select shipments at a specific processing stage.
The traffic light in the overview screens for the
shipments shows how far they have been processed.

Procedure

You can change the overall status of a shipment by setting a status during shipment processing.

Examples

  1. Planned Transportation planning is complete
  2. Check-in Vehicle has arrived at the plant
  3. Loading start Vehicle is being loaded or unloaded
  4. Loading end Loading/unloading has finished
  5. Shpmt completion Vehicle leaves plant
  6. Shipment start Shipment begins
  7. Shipment end Shipment ends

Dependencies

The overall status of the shipment controls subsequent activities such as freight cost calculation or archiving.
