Definition

The percentage of completion (POC) display in the information system distinguishes between:

  • Aggregated
  • Not aggreagated
  • Aggregated, corrected
  • Not aggregated, corrected

The corrected/not corrected POCs are used to depict various views of the project.

  • Corrected POC

The POC calculated in past periods is displayed with corrections arising from changes to the plan. This view is particular interesting to project managers because it takes account of the effects of plan changes on the POC for past periods too.

  • Uncorrected POC

The POC from past periods is not corrected to reflect plan changes.
The uncorrected POC is suitable for reports submitted to the ordering party.

Further notes

In the information system you can display plan and actual POCs from one or two earned value versions.
