Definition

The progress value display in the information system distinguishes between two different views:

  • Adjusted values

    Earned values calculated in the past are displayed in the information system, adjusted to take account of changes in the values. This view is of interest to project managers because it takes account of the effect of the changes on values for past periods.

  • Unadjusted values

    Changes to the plan do not lead to earned values in past periods being adapted.
    The unadjusted values are suitable for use in reports to the ordering party.

Further notes

In the information system, you can display plan and actual earned values from one or two earned value versions.
