Definition

The progress value/progress quantity display in the information system distinguishes between two different views:

  • Adjusted

    The values/quantities calculated in past periods are adjusted in the information system to reflect changes to the plan. This view is important to project management because the effects of the changes to the plan on the values/quantities are also taken into account for past periods.

  • Unadjusted

    Changes to the plan have no effect on the values/quantities from earlier periods.
    Unadjusted earned values/quantities are suitable for reporting to the ordering party.

Further notes

You can display plan and actual earned values/quantities from one or two progress versions in the information system.

Note that no adjusted values are shown in the plan.
