Definition

Specifies the unit in which you enter the target quantity of the item as well as the upper and lower limits of the allowed tolerance range. For material items, this unit must have the same dimension as the base quantity of the material.

Use

Dependencies

The units that are allowed in a subview depend on your Customizing settings.

The following requirements must be met for the system to be able to calculate the item quantity total of a subview:

• In material items, the unit of the item or the alternative unit of measure of the material must have the same dimension as the unit of the item total.
• In substance items, the unit of the item must have the same dimension as the unit of the item total.
