Documentation
Definition
Specifies that the document is blocked for dangerous goods.
Use
This indicator is set by the dangerous goods checks if you have set the document block for the dangerous goods check method that determines the overall reaction for the check schema in processing.
For more information, see the IMG activity Specify Dangerous Goods Check Schemas in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management.
Setting the block indicator causes the shipment document statuses assigned in the current transaction to be reset.
Document statuses already in the database are not reset.
If the block indicator is set, no further shipment document statuses can be assigned.
Procedure
- In a delivery, if you change data that is relevant for dangerous goods after the materials planning status has been set, and these changes lead to the block indicator being set when the shipment document is saved during a new dangerous goods check, then you must change the shipment document or deliveries again so that the dangerous goods check causes the block indicator to be reset again.
- If the set document status prevents the data from being changed, you must reset it again. To do this, you may have to reset follow-on activities that have already been processed.
Dependencies
The Block indicator for dangerous goods is reset by the dangerous goods check:
- If all checks ran with positive results or
- If the document block indicator is not set for the check method that determines the overall reaction
