Definition
If this indicator is set, the master inspection characteristic can be used as a parameter characteristic. A master inspection characteristic of this kind can be assigned to an inspection method, and then defines certain properties that must be adhered to when inspecting in accordance with this inspection method (principle: master inspection characteristic is assigned to an inspection method). If an inspection method is included in a task list, the assigned master inspection characteristics are automatically copied into the task list, and become parameter characteristics.
If a master inspection characteristic is marked as a parameter characteristic, no inspection methods can be assigned to it (principle: inspection method is assigned to a master inspection characteristic).
It is not possible to mark only some versions of a master inspection characteristic as a parameter characteristic, and not others.
Comment: A master inspection characteristic that is marked as a parameter characteristic can also be used as a "normal" inspection characteristic.
