Definition

Function-neutral reserve fields are available in the shipment document header that you can fill in and use specific to your installation needs.
You can configure these fields on the Header: General Data screen on the Addit. data tab page.

The fields in table VTTK are:

  • ADD01 to ADD04 : supplemental fields 1 to 4
  • TEXT1 to TEXT4 : additional texts 1 to 4

Check tables VTADD01 to VTADD04 exist for fields ADD04 to ADD04. You can find these tables in Customizing in the transportation section under Shipments -> Maintain additional data.

The contents of fields ADD01 to ADD04 can be referred to when shipment costs are billed.

Example

You want to use supplemental field ADD01 to record extras that you need for a shipment so that you can run a statistical analysis of them or incorporate them into the shipment costs.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Change data element VTTK_ADD01:
    1. Change the short description 'Suppl. 1' to 'Extras'
    2. Change the corresponding keyword.
  2. Activate data element VTTK_ADD01.
  3. Configure entity table VTADD01 in Customizing by defining the following values:
    1. "0000000001" hydraulic lift
    2. "0000000002" refrigeration unit
    3. "0000000003" low-loader
