Definition

The gas billing procedure is specified for a register in the installation structure in the field for billing procedure. The procedure indicates the types of calculation for the calorific value and the volume correction factor.

When checking the validity of a gas procedure, the system analyzes the following selection criteria:

1. The rate category that is currently allocated to the installation is used to determine the billing class and gas billing type; all the gas procedures with this billing class and gas billing type that have not been flagged as inactive are listed in a preselection.
2. The volume correction factor procedure of the respective gas procedures are then checked to see whether the nominal load and measured pressure of the device/register lies within the defined ranges for nominal load and measured pressure. Furthermore, the factors for thermal gas billing (field Therm.gas bill.) in the volume correction factor category must agree with those in the register.

Only a gas procedure that meets all of the above requirements is a valid gas procedure.
