Definition
Enter the name of the printer in the host system.
- In Windows NT systems, you can find this name (\\P12345\PRINTER1, for example) in the print manager.
- In Windows 3.1 and most other PC environments, the printer name is part of the name of the port to which the printer is attached. Example: LPT1.
If you are using the transfer program SAPlpd, you can also enter __DEFAULT (underscore underscore DEFAULT) to use the default printer in the Windows print manager.
For access method 'M' (print via e-mail), you can enter an e-mail address.
Note
- If names are case-sensitive in the host system, be sure to enter the name with the correct capitalization.
