Use
Number of levels, starting at the top WBS element, over which results analysis is to be performed.
The value you should enter depends on the project structure indicator that you have entered in Customizing for the Project System in the valuation method. Consequently it also depends on whether you are working with valuated project stock or nonvaluated project stock.

Procedure
- If you have set the project structure indicator "A", "B" or "C", we recommend that you enter "1". In this case you process the project as a whole - you do not determine the work in process or profits at subordinate levels. Results analysis is performed at the billing element level and used the data cumulated from subordinate WBS elements.
- If you have set the project structure indicator "P", "T" or "U", we recommend that you enter "99" or the exact depth of the project. Results analysis is then performed for all WBS elements that have a results analysis key, including the corresponding planning and billing elements. You determine work in process and profits at all of these levels.
