Definition
When you set this indicator, you specify, that the activity in this line is the successor of the activity shown above the table area.
If you do not set this indicator, you specify, that the activity in this line is the predecessor of the activity shown above the table area.
Dependencies
You can only set this indicator when the view of relationships in Customizing for the (standard) network profile is set to mixed.
Examples
If the view predecessor is set in Customizing, you cannot set this indicator. The activity for which the relationship has been maintained is automatically the predecessor of the selected activity.

Definition
You use this indicator to specify that the operation for which you want to maintain the relationship is the <successor>successor.
Dependencies
You can only maintain the indicator if the view of the relationships is on mixed for the standard network profile or the network profile in customizing.
Examples
If the view predecessor is maintained in customizing, you cannot maintain the indicator. The operation for which you want to maintain the relationship is automatically the predecessor of the selected operation.

Definition
This indicator specifies that the current line contains the successor phase of the phase you have selected.
Dependencies
You can only set this indicator in the Mixed relationship view.
In the Successor relationship view, this indicator is set automatically by the system.
In the Predecessor relationship view, you cannot enter successors.
