Unit in which the system records the measurement reading in the database

All internal processing of target values, measurement range limits, measurement readings and so on occurs in the SI-unit of the characteristic unit.

The values are generally displayed online in the unit of the characteristic.

Dependencies

When a document is entered, the system also makes an identical record in the database of the measurement reading entered together with its associated unit of entry.
