Use
Each time you create a business partner, you assign the partner to a grouping. This grouping determines the number range.
Once the partner has been created you cannot change this assignment.
Dependencies
The value you enter in the Grouping field when you create a business partner determines whether you have to fill the Business partner number field, and the type of entry required.
