Definition
Defines the date to be used for selecting the bill of material (BOM) or routing. You have the following options:
- Only order start date
- Only order finish date
- Date from the BOM explosion number if one exists; otherwise the order start date
- Date from the BOM explosion number if one exists; otherwise the order finish date
Note
The standard procedure is that the system first checks whether a BOM explosion number exists for the BOM. If one does exist, the BOM is exploded using the fixed key date contained in the BOM explosion number. If a BOM explosion number does not exist, the BOM is exploded with the order start date.
