Definition

This indicator determines whether the partner is expanded using the 'Married couple' relationships.

If one of the following partner structures has been defined in the system, you can use this indicator to address the couple.

  1. In the case of a married couple, where one spouse is defined as the main loan partner, and at the same time, the husband/wife relationship is defined within partner management:
If you set the indicator, the system first checks the relationship table to see if relationship 0021 or 0022 exists for the current main loan partner. If it does, and the partner is also a further borrower of the loan, the address is changed to include this partner. That means that this person does not receive a copy of the letter.
  2. In the case of a married couple that is defined as the main loan borrower, both spouses exist only in the partner management and are linked to the main loan partner via relationship category 0020 (married couple). (This option requires changing a customer-specific ABAP program. For more information, see the comment for form FIND_BOTH_SPOUSES in RFVDTX01). If you set this indicator, the system checks the relationship table to see if two 0020 relationships exist for the main loan partner. If this is the case, both names are used for the address and form of address.
