Indicator showing whether the spool control screen should be displayed prior to printing the letter.
If this indicator is not crossed (i.e. no spool control screen), then flagging the 'Print preview' field in Customizing in 'Assign letters to correspondence activities and roles' results in the display of a print preview on the screen prior to printing out from the selected printer.
