Definition
The expected delay is calculated differently, depending on the receipt element:
- Production order: The expected delay specifies by how much the order finish date shifts as a result of an actual delay. This is determined as follows: Expected delay = Actual delay - safety time.
- Planned order: The order finish date lies in the past.
- Purchase requisition: The requested delivery date lies in the past.
- Purchase order: The requested delivery date lies in the past.
- Sales order item: The requested delivery date of the earliest operative requested quantity/date lies in the past.
