Documentation
Definition
Unit of measure used in the operation for the material to be produced.
Among other things, it is valid for:
- the base quantity
- the minimum lot size
- the minimum send-ahead quantity when operations overlap
The operation unit of measure can deviate from the unit of measure for the task list if you change the numerator and denominator in the quotient for conversion.
Dependencies
If the unit of measure in the header has already been maintained, this unit is used as a default value for the operation unit. You can change the unit of measure in the operation.
Supplementary Documentation - VORME 4410
Definition
Unit of measure for the base quantity. For activities/operations, this unit is also used for activity/operation quantities and phase quantities in the material quantity calculation.
Dependencies
The system suggests the charge quantity unit that is entered in the recipe header. You can change the unit here. In this case, you must also enter the quotient for converting between the two units.
