Documentation
Definition
The tolerance in the case of late completion determines the time span in which positive variances between actual and planned date do not influence subsequent scheduling.
The tolerance is defined as a percentage rate of the smallest interval between the maintenance cycles of the maintenance strategy.
The smallest interval is used so that a date shift does not automatically lead to a planned date being skipped.
Use
Dependencies
Example
A maintenance strategy has two maintenance packages:
- Package 1: Every 30 days
Package 2: Every 40 days - Smallest interval: 10 days
- Tolerance: 10 %
If the maintenance package is performed no more than one day after the planned date, this variance will be disregarded for the determination of the next date.
