Definition

This indicator specifies how the production dates are to be determined.

  • If this indicator has been selected and if a valid routing exists, the system carries out lead time scheduling and the production dates are calculated using the floats from the scheduling margin key (in the material master record) and the times of the individual operations in the routing are calculated.

    If the CapReqmnts indicator has also been set, capacity requirements are generated for the operations.

  • If the CapReqmnts indicator has been set, then capacity requirements are created for the complete runtime of the order.

Note

In rough-cut and rate-based scheduling, the system uses backward scheduling techniques.

In detailed scheduling you can set up parameters for scheduling with the Detailed scheduling parameters function.
