Definition
The financial transaction category specifies which categories of transactions can be carried out with a certain product category.
The transaction categories are predefined in the system.
The transaction categories available are listed in the F4 Help.
Use
To create transactions for these categories in transaction management, you must define transaction types for these categories by choosing 'Define Transaction Types'. Besides assigning the transaction category to a transaction type, you also assign number ranges and a processing category.
