Definition

Work items can assume the following statuses:

  • Ready (READY)

    @CS@

    The work item is available for execution. Depending on its type, it can be executed either by the recipient in their Business Workplace or by the system in the background.

  • Reserved (SELECTED)

    @CT@

    A work item displayed in the Business Workplace can be reserved by a recipient. This removes it from the Business Workplaces of all other recipients.

  • In process (STARTED)

    @CU@

    The work item is currently being processed. This means that either the task/method associated with the work item is currently being executed or at least that processing has not yet been completed.

  • Waiting (WAITING)

    @CW@

    The work item cannot be executed yet and therefore cannot be seen in the Business Workplace yet.

    (A work item with status waiting, for which a recipient is entered, is located in the Resubmissions folder.)

  • Executed (COMMITTED)

    @CV@

    The task/method associated with the work item has already been executed once but processing is not yet completed. The work item can therefore be started again (meaning forced into status in process).

  • Completed (COMPLETED)

    @CX@

    The work item has been processed fully and successfully.

  • Logically deleted (CANCELLED)

    @CZ@

    The work item no longer has to be processed, since the possible result is no longer required.

  • Error (ERROR)

    @CY@

    An error has occurred processing the work item. The work item cannot be started again. Refer to the work item log for the possible error causes.

  • In preparation (CHECKED)

    @F4@

    The work item can be created, but the condition for the step Create Work Item is not yet fulfilled.
