Definition

Cost centers that you can post to, in addition to a statistical order.

Use

You only use this field with statistical orders.

When you specify a cost center, you can post statistical postings on the order additionally as true on the specified cost center.

With manual postings, you can choose between two functions:

  1. Standard case

    All postings are posted to the cost centers specified here, in addition to the statistical order. If you specify a different cost center, this is automatically changed by the system.

  2. Alternative adjustable posting logic

    If no additional cost center is specified when you post to the statistical order, the system posts additionally to the cost center stored in the order. If a cost center is explicitly assigned to with the order, the system posts to this cost center.

    If you want to install this alternative posting logic, switch off message KI337. To do this, go to the IMG "Controlling General" and choose the IMG activity "Change message control" (Application area "KI", Message number 337).

Notes

During periodic allocations, the system posts true costs to the cost center specified here. If you have not stored a cost center, then the given order is not processed during the periodic allocation.
