Definition

You can use the cycle modification factor to change the cycle times of a maintenance strategy individually for each maintenance plan.

The cycle times that are valid according to the strategy are increased with a cycle modification factor greater than 1 and decreased with a cycle modification factor less than 1.

Example:

• Cycle time according to strategy: 150 days
• Cycle modification factor 1.2
• Result: 150 * 1.2 ----> Cycle time of 180 days in maintenance plan

You can use the cycle modification factor to adapt the general maintenance strategies to the particular requirements of a system, process or location.
