Definition

Complicated allocation relationships may result in a great number of iteration steps and extremely long runtimes. Often, however, the results of the first few steps suffice because further allocations affect only very small amounts.

Also, an iteration may end with divergent values, but the number of steps until this occurs may also be quite large.

By choosing the number of iteration steps you can end iteration before the convergence or divergence conditions appear.

After reaching this maximum number, if no errors occur, the system issues a completion message. In any case, you should check the results before posting them.
