If you use this characteristic in the general selection criteria of a cost center report, the system also imports the transaction data of those orders and WBS elements that have the cost center given in the report as the responsible cost center in their master data.
If you simultaneously use the "Object type" characteristic (technical name: OBART), you can control for which objects the report displays data.
Example:
- A report uses the following characteristic combinations:
Cost center (KOSTL): 4711
Import CCtr data (RESP_FLAG): X
Object type OBART): CC, AT, OR
The report displays the data posted to cost center 4711, as well as to the orders that have cost center 4711 as the responsible cost center in their master data.
- A report uses the following characteristic combinations:
Cost center (KOSTL): 4711
Import CCtr data (RESP_FLAG): X
Object type (OBART): PR
The report displays the data posted to the WBS elements that have cost center 4711 as the responsible cost center in their master data.
