Definition

During a correction run, the actual amount to be posted is determined from the correction amount determined on the correction key date and the amounts already posted in the previous calendar year. The amounts that have already been posted are deducted from the calculation result.

This indicator specifies whether the correction amount is taken into account during this calculation.

Use

  • Indicator is set ('X')

The correction amount is not taken into account.

  • Indicator is not set (' ')

The correction amount is taken into account.

You can set this indicator in transaction REITTCPOST (InpTaxCorr: Manual Posting) or by using BAPIs.

Background:

Values that have already been posted are taken into account during automatic calculation of the correction values and only the difference between each posted value and the calculated correction value is posted. If corrections other than those calculated by the system are posted (due to objections from the tax auditor, for example), these would be removed again automatically as a result of retroactive accounting. However, if the indicator is set for a posting, the posted value is not taken into account during retroactive accounting.
