Definition
The relative schedule deviation is calculated as follows:
schedule deviation output - schedule deviation input to output
Use
The relative schedule deviation describes how a work center contributed to the delay or acceleration of the order lead time. A negative indicator shows that the work center delayed the production lead time.
In the standard of the Shop Floor Information System this key figure is calculated when the operation and work center analyses are executed and is updated in the information structures S022 and S024.
Example
The schedule deviation of an operation output is 2 days, that is the target output (scheduled finish) was exceded by 2 days. The scheduled deviation input to output is 1 day, that is the target output of the previous work center was exceded by one day.
relative schedule deviation = -2 - (-1) = -1
