Key that identifies the sequence of process instructions within a phase.

Use
If the process instructions of the phase are converted into an SAP PI sheet according to the control recipe destination, the process instruction number controls the sequence in which the process instructions are displayed.
Note the following special features for the different process instruction types:
- Sequence definitions must always be the first process instructions in a phase.
- Process data requests, calculation formulas, inspection results requests, and function calls are displayed to the right of or below the preceding process parameter.
- Repeated data requests (tables) are displayed after the other process instructions for a process parameter.
Procedure
- Assign the numbers in such a way that numbering corresponds to the sequence in which the process instructions are processed.
- Leave a sufficient interval between the numbers so that you can add further process instructions if you need them. Automatic renumbering is not possible.
