Use
If this indicator is set, the values for the inspection specifications (such as the specification limits) are copied dynamically into the material specification.
There are the following options:
- If a link exists between a master inspection characteristic and a class characteristic in the material specification, the values for the inspection specifications are copied from the material classification.
- If there is no connection between a master inspection characteristic and a class characteristic in the material specification, the values for the inspection specifications are copied from the master inspection characteristic.
In both cases, the corresponding fields in the material specification are not ready for input.
If this indicator is not set, you can change the individual values in the material specification and adapt them for a specific material. The corresponding fields in the material specification are ready for input.
Dependencies
For master inspection characteristics that are not linked to a class characteristic in the material specification, you can cancel the reference to change the values for the specific material and store them directly in the material specification.
To do this, select the appropriate master inspection characteristic and call the function Cancel reference.
If you call the function Create reference, the values are again copied dynamically from the master inspection characteristic.
