Definition
Use
If you set this indicator, it causes the characteristic to be treated as a qualitative characteristic. You thereby define the control indicators that are relevant for the inspection characteristic. Inspection results are recorded as codes from inspection catalogs, with the valuation OK or not OK, or as the number of determined results in classes. You do not define tolerance limits or a target value. Accordingly, you cannot, for example, record measured values during results confirmation.
Procedure
Set the indicator for the characteristic type (quantitative or qualitative) or enter a control key.
If you used a control key, for which the "fixed" indicator is set in Customizing, you cannot change the indicator for the characteristic type. In addition, you cannot delete this indicator or enter another control key.
