Definition

In this line, you enter planned production quantities.

You can derive these production quantities from the planned sales quantities automatically in one of four ways:

• you specify that you are going to produce the same quantity as you sell in each period
• you specify that you are going to produce the quantity required to meet a target stock level in each period
• you specify that you are going to produce the quantity required to meet a target days' supply in each period
• you specify that you are going to produce the quantity required to reduce the stock level at the end of each period to zero

You can also distribute the production quantities using the Distribution function or enter them manually.
