Use

  • Indicator in the results analysis version in Customizing for results analysis that controls which version in order planning or project planning is used in planned results analysis if the indicator Actual and plan RA is selected. In this case, the plan version entered in the results analysis version determines which planned data replace the actual data.

    Limitation: If the results analysis version is defined in the results analysis version (Customizing for results analysis) as the version that is relevant to settlement for plan settlement, the plan version entered here must be the version with the same version number as the results analysis version.

  • In the valuation method in Customizing for results analysis, this indicator determines which plan version is used for the following purposes:
    • To valuate the actual data
      • In actual results analysis, the actual data is valuated with plan data determined on the basis of the plan version if the indicator Actual RA or Actual and plan RA in the results analysis version is selected.
    • To valuate the simulated data
      • In actual results analysis, simulated actual data is valuated with the planned data determined on the basis of this plan version if the indicator Simulate actual with plan in the results analysis version is selected.

Dependencies

You can plan costs for internal orders and projects in different plan versions.

For sales order items, you always plan the costs in plan version 0. If you want to execute results analysis on sales order items, therefore, you should always enter plan version 0.
