Definition
The priority value is calculated as a number between 0 and 1, where 1 is the highest priority. This value can be calculated with the following formula:
Number of empty kanbans
-----------------------------
Number of kanbans in control cycle
EMPTY includes all kanbans with the status:
- EMPTY without replenishment
- EMPTY with replenishment
- IN TRANSIT/ IN PROCESS
Defective kanbans do not count as EMTPY.
