Documentation
Definition
The replenishment strategy defines exactly how procurement in stock transfer is to be carried out.
You use the replenishment strategy to define the following, for example:
- Whether the stock transfer is to be carried out using a reservation, direct transfer posting or via the WM/PP interface
- Which movement type is to be used to post the goods receipt
Dependencies
You define the replenishment strategies in Customizing for KANBAN. You then assign the appropriate replenishment strategy to the control cycle.
Supplementary Documentation - PKSTU 0001
Use
The replenishment strategy is defined using the following control parameters:
- the control type defines the replenishment elements used to control the stock transfer within a plant
- the bar code lock used to define a "lock period" after going over the bar code
- the movement type for the goods receipt in in-house production
- and the forms for printing the kanbans
