Documentation
Definition
The replenishment strategy defines exactly how procurement using external procurement procedures is to be carried out.
You use the replenishment strategy to define the following, for example:
- Which procurement element is to be used to carry out procurement
- Which movement type is to be used to post the goods receipt
Dependencies
You define the replenishment strategies in Customizing for KANBAN. You then assign the appropriate replenishment strategy to the control cycle.
Supplementary Documentation - PKSTF 0001
Use
The replenishment strategy is defined using the following control parameters:
- the control type determines which replenishment elements are used to control external replenishment
- the movement type for the goods receipt of external delivery
- and the bar code lock used to define a "lock period" after going over the bar code
