Definition
You can use an assignment to set the representative material. The system does this by transferring the contents of a different field or constant. Temporary work fields are provided for storage of intercompany profit and loss. These can be assigned to either a source field or a target field.
The following source fields are provided for derivation of the representative material:
- the company code
- the valuation area
- the material number
- three temporary work fields
The following can be set as target fields:
- the representative material
- the temporary work fields
