Definition

A derivation rule can be used to set the representative material in accordance with the content of other fields. The system provides temporary work fields for storage of intercompany profit and loss.

The following source fields are provided for derivation of the representative material:

• the company code
• the valuation area
• the material number
• three temporary work fields

The following can be set as target fields:

• the representative material
• the temporary work fields
