Definition
The actual volume of the vehicle, including loaded products.
Use
The actual volume of the vehicle is calculated as the sum of the loaded products.
During scheduling, the actual volume is compared to the maximum volume as defined in the vehicle master data. If the actual volume exceeds the maximum volume and the check overloading flag is marked for the shipment type, an error message is produced. It is then not possible to confirm the shipment, unless the scheduled quantities are reduced to a level at which the vehicle is no longer overloaded.
