Definition
The number that uniquely identifies the bulk shipment document.
Use
The bulk shipment document number is assigned in the 'Create shipment' function in the Scheduling transaction. If no number is entered, then internal number ranges are used. Otherwise, external number ranges can be assigned, if maintained in Customizing.
If you want to display or change a shipment and you only have the shipment type or status, you can use a matchcode to find the document.
