The reason code is a 2-digit alphanumeric entry defined in Table TOIGS4. This is found in:

If an overdelivery or underdelivery occurs at delivery confirmation, a reason code may be provided. It is then used as part of the key to Table TOIGS5 to allow the use of tolerance levels customized specifically for the reason given. Table TOIGS5 is found in:
