Documentation
Definition
The events allow the workflow-specific generation of examination and study documents and the system to query services specific to this workflow for the worklist.
The events can be divided into two types:
- Events for the generation of exam and study documents:
- Generation of STUDY/EXAM documents when status is changed
- You use this event if the service facility does not plan the initiated services. The documents for clinical orders are created when a defined item status change occurs. With requests, this corresponds to the request confirmation.
- Generation of STUDY/EXAM documents during scheduling:
- We recommend that this event is used for service facilities which schedule the initiated services.
- Generation of STUDY/EXAM documents when replacing a service
- If services should be replaced at the service facility before or after they are performed, you should maintain this event for the service facility and its building units. This event is used in addition to Generation of STUDY/EXAM documents when status is changed or during scheduling and only when services are replaced.
- Events for the worklist
- Worklist - Initiated services: The worklist contains services - without assigned appointments - from clinical orders where the STUDY/EXAM document was created at a defined status change. It also contains confirmed services from requests. For the generation of radiological documents you must have defined the Generate STUDY/EXAM at status change event.
- Worklist - Services with appointments
- All services which have an appointment assigned will be included in the worklist.
- Worklist - Services of waiting patients
- Services which have a movement with internal movement status 50 will be included in the worklist.
- Worklist - Initiated services, with appointment, waiting patients
- This event is a combination of all the previous events.
- Worklist - Single transfer (single patient)
- Selected services will be sent to a recipient. You can select and send services using the Send Worklist function and the BAdI for sending data ( BAdI: Selectively send worklist entries ).
You should note the following connections concerning maintenance:
If you wish the system to create an exam document for a service, you must set the Image-Producing Process indicator for the service in the service master. Also, one of the events for generating STUDY/EXAM documents must be maintained for the performing organizational unit (OU) and building unit (BU). If the AE title ( Define Resources (AE Titles)) is also maintained, the system will also generate a STUDY document.
You must define an AE title and an event for the worklist for its OU and BU, in order to be able to query a worklist, and the system must create the radiological documents for the services to be performed.
