Definition
For quantity-based results analysis, this defines whether:
- The quantity delivered to the customer is used as the basis for results analysis
- The quantity given in the billing document is used as the basis for results analysis
- The planned and actual quantities are to be indicated through a statistical key figure
Use
The base quantity is only relevant for quantity-based results analysis methods.
In the standard system, the billing quantity is entered for the quantity-based results analysis methods.
The base quantity serves to determine the acutal quantities and planned quantities.

Dependencies
The results analysis object determines which values you can use:
- For sales orders, you can choose whether the delivered quantity or the billed quantity is used to measure the progress of the order.
Note that with third-party business transactions no delivery quantity is defined in the system.
- For projects and internal orders, you can perform quantity-based results analysis only through statistical key figures.
