Documentation
Definition
The MRP segment displays the availability situation for a certain part of the MRP result. Receipt and issue elements are sorted according to their receipt date and requirements date for each MRP segment.
Receipts and issues from one segment are not consumed with those of another segment. Stocks from each segment are maintained separately.
The following MRP segments are displayed:
- Net segment
the net segment in the MRP list represents the section for which the net requirements calculation is carried out - Gross segment
the gross segment in the MRP list contains the MRP elements from gross requirements planning - Individual customer segment
an individual customer segment is created per individual customer order - Planning/no final assembly
This segment groups together the MRP elements which are planned without final assembly, as yet. Once the sales order arrives the final assembly is initiated and is consumed with the planned requirements. - Storage location segment
A separate segment is created per storage location which is planned individually.
