Definition
Determines the different production techniques which can be used to produce a material.
The production version defines the following:
- the alternative BOMs for the BOM explosion
- the task list type, the task list group and the group counter for the allocation to task lists
- restrictions on lot size for repetitive manufacturing
Use
If you enter a production version in this field, the system displays only the MRP elements that refer to this production version in the MRP list and stock/requirements list. You can thus, for example, gain an overview for a particular producion line.
