Definition
In a stock transfer, specifies the quantity of a material that has already been withdrawn from the stock of the issuing plant via a stock transport order, but which has not yet arrived in the receiving plant.
Use
The stock in transit is recorded in the valuated stock of the receiving plant, but is not yet regarded as available.
