Definition
You can use the evaluation profile to pre-specify the following key figures for all materials of a plant or an MRP group on a material-specific basis:
- The limit values for the range-of-coverage status (range-of-coverage traffic light) for the different range-of-coverage types (stock days' supply, 1st receipt days' supply, and 2nd receipt days' supply).
- A default period for the evaluation of the receipt and requirement statistics in the enhanced header details of the stock/requirement list and MRP list.
You create the evaluation profile in Customizing for material requirements planning under Evaluations .
Use
The evaluation profile can then be assigned to the materials as follows:
- All materials in a plant via the plant parameters (Customizing for Material Requirements Planning --> Plant Parameters --> Overall Maintenance of Plant Parameters --> Maintain --> Reporting --> Evaluation Profile)
- The materials of an MRP group via overall maintenance of the MRP groups (Customizing for Material Requirements Planning --> MRP Groups --> Overall Maintenance of MRP Group --> Maintain --> Evaluation Profile)
The evaluation profile you have assigned to the MRP group has the higher priority however.
If an evaluation profile has not be assigned at either of the two levels, hard-coded values are used in each case.
Dependencies
In order that the values you defined in the evaluation profile are then used for a certain material, in the Define Traffic Lights dialog box on the collective display screen for the stock/requirements list, you must set and save the Material-Specific Limit Values indicator.
