Definition
Key which defines the priority order of the BOM usages for application-specific alternative BOM selection.
Use
If you would like to use individual long-term planning BOMs in long-term planning, you enter the selection ID here that you have created for long-term planning. You can therefore achieve that during the BOM selection in the long-term planning run, the system firstly searches for the BOMs with BOM usage for long-term planning.
With the use of independent BOMs in long-term planning, you gain the advantage that you can simulate planned changes to BOMs in advance.
